It was a busy night on Tuesday for high school basketball and we had some pretty good performances. Here are some who grabbed my attention:
Top female performance
Leslie Robinson, Corvallis: Robinson had some great stats in the Spartans’ MWC victory over South Albany but also exhibited leadership on the floor. “She’s a natural-born leader and so athletic,” coach Jamie Medley said about her performance. Robinson had 15 points, 16 rebounds and six steals in the victory.
Top male performance
Ben Renshaw may have scored only nine points but his 3-pointer was the shot of the game in Monroe’s 48-47 overtime victory over Oakland. With that win, the Dragons stay with a half-game of the lead in the 2A Mountain View Conference.
