It’s hard to believe but Oregon State’s softball season will begin in only a couple more weeks.

The Beavers open on Feb. 9-11 with a trip to Tempe, Ariz., on the campus of Arizona State for the Kajikawa Classic.

OSU will face Brigham Young and Idaho State on the first day, Georgia Tech and McNeese State on the second day, and Nebraska on the last day.

Just today, the USA Today/NFCA and the ESPN.com/USA Softball top 25 preseason polls were released. The Pac-12 was well-represented with seven teams in each poll.

Arizona State was the unanimous No. 1 in both polls. California is ranked No. 4 by USA Today/NFCA and No. 3 by ESPN.com/USA Softball.

Other Pac-12 in the rankings include Arizona (No. 8 and No. 8), Stanford (No. 9 and No. 10), Washington (No. 12 and No. 14), Oregon (No. 16 and No. 11) and UCLA (No. 19 and No. 13).
